Since appearing at the prestigious Jazzahead! trade fair (Bremen, Germany) as part of the "Québec Jazz" showcase in 2023, Montreal-based Samuel Bonnet has been building a reputation across Europe and Canada for what critics describe as his "luminous, meticulous technique" and the "raw authenticity" of his playing. His upcoming album, *Slow* (October 2026), features renowned New York trumpeter Joe Magnarelli, while a 2025 Italian tour and upcoming European performances further highlight his growing stature on the global jazz scene. This pre-launch concert is part of the tour introducing the *Slow* album across Western and Central Canada.
