​The Bootlegger is a unique cocktail bar in Montreal, specializing in whiskey and absinthe. Our exceptional collection of over 600 bottles of spirits makes our establishment a benchmark for connoisseurs of exceptional drinks.

Committed to an eco-responsible approach, we have adopted a zero-waste vision for several years. This initiative is reflected throughout our menu, as we are one of the few bars in Montreal to make the majority of our ingredients in-house, from syrups, juices, sodas, infusions, bitters, and garnishes.

The Bootlegger is also a late-night dining experience: our kitchen is open until after midnight and we offer a $1 oyster bar during happy hour.

The atmosphere, both warm and subdued, is enlivened by a rich musical program: live jazz concerts every Sunday and DJ sets on Fridays and Saturdays, creating a festive and sophisticated atmosphere in the heart of Montreal.
