JONATHAN BOUDREAU
Born in Montreal, he grew up in Montérégie. He has been a performer, composer, and teacher for over 20 years. He has accompanied artists such as Ranee-Lee, Gunhild Carling, Diunna Greenleaf, Lee Oskarn (of the band War), Roch Voisine, Garou, Corneille, and many others.
VERSATILITY
Jonathan also composes music for television, and his music can be heard on several American shows.
He co-directs and co-produces musical projects in popular music, jazz, funk, world music, modern jazz, and more.
He has also performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Tremblant International Blues Festival, the Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant, and the Montreal Off Jazz Festival.
THIAGO FERTÉ
Brazilian-born saxophonist Thiago Ferté is known for having performed at numerous major jazz events and festivals in Canada, France, and Latin America.
His debut album, Underground Scene, on Blues Times Records, features nine original compositions and was awarded prizes upon its release in 2011.
His love of music takes many forms: Thiago has devoted himself to teaching saxophone for several years at the University of Sherbrooke and other schools. He teaches music theory and jazz improvisation, and also gives private lessons.
VIVACITY
Thiago is a versatile saxophonist with great talent. When he's on stage, his vivacity is evident. He knows how to accompany his fellow musicians on a varied range of rhythms with disconcerting ease.
