Bill Evans profoundly revolutionized the approach to jazz trios and piano. A subtle performer and inspired composer, he incorporated into his work a harmonic color inspired by the French Impressionists: Fauré, Debussy, and Ravel. It is with emotion that the Lorraine Desmarais Trio now recreates his favorite Bill Evans pieces on stage.
