Michael & Jon Gearey, Frédéric Alarie at the 1st North Hatley Jazz Festival

The highly anticipated performance of the Michael Gearey Trio, consisting of Michael Gearey (son) and Jon Gearey (father), along with Frédéric Alarie, took place in the gardens of Hovey Manor. This trio, brought together especially for the Festival, was eager to perform. Seated in a rural setting, the audience enjoyed guitar melodies interspersed with double bass. Michael Gearey, for his part, demonstrated his talent for jazz standards and compositions, which he has already mastered well despite his young age.
