Isabella Hallia
Isabella Hallia is a Montréal-based jazz vocalist whose lyrical voice and warm, resonant tone bring fresh sensitivity to the timeless sound of traditional vocal jazz. Drawing inspiration from icons such as Anita O’Day, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan, and Mel Tormé, Isabella performs original compositions written in the tradition of the Great American Songbook alongside thoughtfully reinterpreted and self-arranged standards. Dedicated to preserving the legacy of classic jazz, she offers audiences an authentic and emotionally engaging experience that bridges tradition and individuality. In the meantime, before the next concert, it will be possible to listen to her debut album very soon.

Jazz in the Vineyards
The weather was perfect at the Domaine Bergeville vineyard for the concert by Jonathan Turgeon (piano) and Luc Herrmann (guitar), who performed pieces from the Great American Songbook—specifically works by Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, and George Gershwin. Accustomed to supporting one another in their playing, the duo knows how to inhabit the silences and let the music reflect their souls. Their musical rapport is remarkable. Many in the audience recognized the melodies, while others discovered them with wonder as they sipped organic sparkling wine made from estate-grown grapes. The warm day gave way to a gentle, mellow jazz afternoon. The audience was captivated.
