Bio

A native of Montreal, he grew up in the Montérégie region. He has been a performer, composer, and teacher for over 20 years. He has accompanied artists such as Ranee-Lee, Gunhild Carling, Diunna Greenleaf, Lee Oskarn (of the band War), Garou, Corneille, and many others.

Jonathan also composes, and his music can be heard in several American television series.

He co-directs and co-produces musical projects in popular music, jazz, funk, world music, modern jazz, and more.

In addition, he has performed on several occasions at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Tremblant International Blues Festival, the Mont-Tremblant Jazz Festival, and the Montreal Off Jazz Festival.

Despite a busy career as a sideman, Jonathan still found time to create a duo album with Maxime Racicot (guitar). This album, made humbly with limited resources, has nonetheless made a good impression. A captivating album that one listens to with pleasure more than once.

Jonathan has also been a member of the AFJP (Annam's Family Jazz Project) since its inception in 2015.
